Maria Awes visits the Superbike crime scene because the ballistic evidence doesn't match Todd Kohlhepp's confession and investigates allegations that the police could have caught him sooner.

Maria faces a gruesome new forensic discovery and takes a trip to visit Todd Kohlhepp's property; when he confesses to two more murders, Maria seeks the sheriff's help to organize a search for the bodies, fearing this is only the beginning.
