In a crisis, the Bundeswehr's mechanized infantry are at the forefront of the fight with the Puma infantry fighting vehicle. The combat troops can engage the battle at any time, even outside the tank. The Leopard main battle tank fights at greater distances, individually, in platoons of four, or in conjunction with the infantry fighting vehicle.
